How To Set Up Your Email In Your Device or Application

Getting your Skystream email set up on your preferred device or application is quick and easy. Whether you're using Outlook, Apple Mail, an iPhone, or an Android device, you can follow the step-by-step instructions below to get connected. Simply enter the provided server settings during setup, and you'll be ready to send and receive emails in no time.

Login Credentials

  • Username: Your full email address (e.g., [email protected])
  • Password: The password you set for your email account

Incoming Server (IMAP)

  • Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL

Outgoing Server (SMTP)

  • Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
  • Port: 587
  • Security: STARTTLS or TLS

Setting Up Your Email In Your Device/Application

Simply follow the step-by-step guide for your device/client to get your Skystream email up and running.

  1. Open Outlook 365.
  2. Click "File" > "Add Account".
  3. Enter your Email Address, expand Advanced Options and Check the box next to "Let me set up my account manually" then click "Connect".
  4. Select "IMAP".
  5. Enter the Incoming Mail Server settings:
  6. Enter the Outgoing Mail Server settings:
  7. Enter your Password and click "Connect."
  8. Click "Done" to complete the setup.

Note: These steps are based on general procedures for manually configuring email accounts in Outlook 365. The exact steps may vary depending on your Outlook version.

  1. Open "Mail" and go to "Mail" > "Add Account."
  2. Select "Other Mail Account..." and click "Continue."
  3. Enter your Name, Email Address, and Password, then click "Sign In."
  4. If prompted, enter the following details:
    • Email Address: Your full email address
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email account password
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming Mail Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
    • Outgoing Mail Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
  5. Click "Sign In," then "Done" to complete the setup.
  1. Go to "Settings" > "Mail" > "Accounts."
  2. Tap "Add Account," then "Other."
  3. Select "Add Mail Account."
  4. Enter your Name, Email Address, Password, and a Description, then tap "Next."
  5. Choose "IMAP" and enter the incoming and outgoing mail server details:
    • Incoming Mail Server:
      • Host Name: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
      • Username: Your full email address
      • Password: Your email account password
    • Outgoing Mail Server:
      • Host Name: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
      • Username: Your full email address
      • Password: Your email account password
  6. Tap "Next," then "Save" to complete the setup.
  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon (  ) and select "Settings."
  3. Tap "Add account."
  4. Select "Other."
  5. Enter your Email Address and tap "Next."
  6. Choose "IMAP" as the account type.
  7. Enter your Password and tap "Next."
  8. Configure the Incoming Server settings:
    • Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
    • Port: 993
    • Security type: SSL/TLS
  9. Configure the Outgoing Server settings:
    • SMTP Server: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
    • Port: 587
    • Security type: STARTTLS
  10. Enter your Email Address and Password when prompted.
  11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
  1. Open Thunderbird and click "Email" under "Set up an account."
  2. Enter your Name, Email Address, and Password, then click "Continue."
  3. Select "IMAP" as the incoming protocol.
  4. Click "Manual config" and enter the server details:
    • Incoming Server:
      • Server Hostname: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
      • Port: 993
      • SSL: SSL/TLS
      • Authentication: Normal password
    • Outgoing Server:
      • Server Hostname: skymail01.skystreamhosting.com
      • Port: 587
      • SSL: STARTTLS
      • Authentication: Normal password
  5. Ensure your Username (full email address) is entered for both Incoming Server and Outgoing Server.
  6. Click "Done" to complete the setup.
