Microsoft Outlook Setup Instructions
Setting up a new account:
Before setting up your email on any device/application you’ll be required to change your password from the temporary password we provided you upon account creation. If you have lost/forgotten this password please contact [email protected]
Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook and click File from the menu bar.
Step 2
Click Account Settings.
Step 3
Click New under the Email tab.
Step 4
Enter your Email Address and then Click Advanced Options and check Let Me Set Up My Account Manually. Then click Connect
Step 5
Click on IMAP.
Step 6
For the Incoming Server enter skymail01.skystreamhosting.com, Port 993, Encryption Method SSL/TLS and check Require logon using Secure Password Authentication.
Step 7
For the Outgoing Server enter skymail01.skystreamhosting.com, Port 587, Encryption Method STARTTLS and check Require logon using Secure Password Authentication. Then click Next.
Step 8
Enter your Password and then click Connect.
Step 9
Click Done. Your account is now set up and ready to use.
Update an existing account:
Before setting up your email on any device/application you’ll be required to change your password from the temporary password we provided you upon account creation. If you have lost/forgotten this password please contact [email protected]
Step 1

Select the account your are updating from the dropdown on the top of the screen. Click Account Settings followed by Server Settings.
Step 3
For the Incoming Mail enter skymail01.skystreamhosting.com, Port 993, Encryption Method SSL/TLS and check Require logon using Secure Password Authentication. Be sure to update your Password if it has changed.
Step 4
For the Outgoing Mail enter skymail01.skystreamhosting.com, Port 587, Encryption Method STARTTLS and check Require logon using Secure Password Authentication. Then click Next.
Step 5
Your account is now set up and ready to use.
Email Client Setup
For instructions on how to configure another email client for use with your Skystream Hosting email account choose from one of the following:
