Apple Mail Setup Instructions
Setting up a new account:
Before setting up your email on any device/application you’ll be required to change your password from the temporary password we provided you upon account creation. If you have lost/forgotten this password please contact [email protected]
Step 1
Open Apple Mail.
Step 2
If this is your first account in Apple Mail it should launch the Account Creation dialog automatically. If not click on Mail in the top menu, then Add Account.
Step 3
Check Other Mail Account and click Continue.
Step 4
Enter the name you wish to display on your outgoing emails followed by your Email Address and Password. Then click Sign In.
Step 5
Make sure your User Name is the same as your Email Address (ex. [email protected]). Select IMAP for Account Type and set both the Incoming and Outgoing servers to skymail01.skystreamhosting.com and then click <strong>Sign In</strong>.
Step 6
Click Done when asked on the next screen.
Step 7
Your account is now set up.
Update an existing account:
Before setting up your email on any device/application you’ll be required to change your password from the temporary password we provided you upon account creation. If you have lost/forgotten this password please contact [email protected]
Step 1
Open Apple Mail.
Step 2
Click Mail followed by Accounts... from the top menu.
Step 3
Select the account you are updating from the list on the left and click Advanced.
Step 4
Change the Hostname to skymail01.skystreamhosting.com and click OK.
Step 5
Update your password if it has changed and close the accounts dialog box. Your account is now set up.
Email Client Setup
For instructions on how to configure another email client for use with your Skystream Hosting email account choose from one of the following:

Open Apple Mail.
Step 2
